We Can't Do This Alone

While being ill today I received many gifts - my mother taking the stress away, my husband coming home from work early to support me, and my dear friend Sarah talking to me at least three times (more?) on the phone! I appreciate each of you - thank you!

It got me to thinking about how none of us are here to play this game alone. Then I started thinking about the "other-ness" of "other" people being such a farce since there really is no other, just reflections of ourselves "out there." Why then, are we led to this idea of "other-ness?" I read one time that our knowing we are all one, and one with our creator, was taken away from us purposely to see if we could find our way back to this knowing. I think, if this is the game we were put here to play, that ultimately we will win. (Look at the title list of best selling books for the past decade!)

"Consciousness" - defined as what creates everything out of energy, has risen high enough on our planet to over ride "unconsciousness," even though more then 2/3 of the earth's population is still "unconscious," or not yet awakened/the walking asleep. This is based on the work of David Hawkins - an amazing man who's work on consciousness astounds me. He has created an entire hierarchy of consciousness, based on numbers up to 1000 (I guess they start at 1!) - with people like Jesus and Buddha measuring in at a consciousness level of 1000. Until you have gotten over 200, you are considered "unconscious." I've always wondered where I fall on the consciousness scale... muscle testing for another day. Today, I need to take my gifts from the "other" people in my life and go to bed!
